Personality simulations in assessment: Can games predict work behavior?

We are proud to announce the start of the PhD-project “Personality simulations in assessment: Can games predict work behavior”. The project is a collaboration between LTP Business Psychologists and VU University Amsterdam.

For this project, PhD-student Ard Barends will develop a video game that can be used to assess the six HEXACO personality traits (Honesty-Humility, Emotionality, eXtraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, and Openness to experience). The goal is to develop a scientifically validated video game that provides a stimulating and challenging experience for the user, and is also able to predict future work-behavior.

The project will be supervised by prof.dr. Mark van Vugt and prof.dr. Reinout de Vries from VU University Amsterdam, as well as drs. Rob Fraats and drs. Marian de Joode from LTP Business Psychologists.
